Terms of service
Last updated: [effective date]
These terms govern your use of Domivue. By creating an account you agree to them.
Guidance, not approval
Permit checklists, property data, cost estimates and AI suggestions are guidance only. Each issuing authority (your municipality, Technical Safety BC, BC Hydro, WorkSafeBC) makes the final decision. Always confirm requirements with the authority, and confirm utility locations with BC 1 Call before digging.
Permit rules are drafts until they have been reviewed by licensed professionals, and the app shows when each rule was last reviewed.
Licensed work
Electrical, gas and other regulated work must be done by appropriately licensed people. A "verified" badge means we checked a licence against the public record on the date shown; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of workmanship.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, documents and information you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to provide the service to you and your team.
Professional subscriptions and leads
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled from the billing page. [Refund, cancellation and lead-fee terms to be confirmed.]
Store links
Materials lists link to stores such as The Home Depot Canada and RONA. Some links may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission when you buy through them; the menu says so when that applies. Prices, stock and sales are set by the store.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
- Do not misrepresent your licences, qualifications or identity.
- Do not use the service to harass other users or to scrape data.
Liability
[Limitation of liability, governing law (British Columbia) and dispute resolution to be drafted by counsel.]
