Privacy policy

Last updated: [effective date]

Domivue helps homeowners and renovation professionals in British Columbia plan projects, check permit requirements and work together. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with and the choices you have, under BC PIPA and PIPEDA.

  • Account details: your name and email address, through our sign-in provider.
  • Project information: property addresses, photos, floor plans, documents, budgets, tasks and messages you or your team add.
  • Property data we look up from public sources for the address you enter, such as zoning and mapped hazards.
  • Usage data: error reports with personal details removed and, only if you opt in, product analytics.
  • For professionals: company name, trades, service areas, licence numbers and the documents you upload for verification.
  • To run your projects and share them with the team members you invite.
  • To work out which permits may apply and send reminders you have chosen to receive.
  • To verify professional licences before a profile is shown as verified.
  • To keep the service secure and fix problems.

Only people you invite, and only the parts their role allows. A trade contractor, for example, does not see your budget. Read-only share links show a limited view and can be turned off at any time.

We use these providers to run the service. Each processes data only on our instructions.
